Spring is literally just days away, I know all I have been talking about lately is how much I love spring, and my favorite spring styles, but I'm just so happy it is just a few short days away. Tunics are a great spring and summer essential, wear them with skinny jeans and a wedge like me, or throw it over your swim suit with a sandal. eShakti has several cute summer tunics, like the one I am wearing, and here is another that I think is just adorable. I have worked with eShakti before, and continue to be impressed with the great customer service, I get to have the item made specifically just for my body, and still received it in the mail in a short amount of time.

What's In My Bag {spring break}

Spring break is finally here, I feel like I have been counting down the days since we returned to school haha. I personally love packing, its the unpacking that I seem to put off (for weeks). I honestly did not go anywhere special for spring break this year, I stayed in my apartment and worked some. Wednesday was Matt and my three year anniversary, which was very exciting to celebrate, our anniversary always seems to fall during spring break, I think we planed that pretty well :) I also went home and spent a few days with my family in Raleigh, it's always nice to catch up.

Above are some of my spring break essentials: Tote bag (longchamp) I use this bag all.the.time. for vacations, for class, and at the race track // Sandals (Jack Rogers) I also am eying these Jacks because I feel they would be great for the pool/beach because they are plastic, and there a great price. Swimsuits, I don't know about you, but shopping for/trying on swimsuits is literally about my least favorite thing to do, period. I am a one piece kinda gal usually, I love this Kate Spade bow one it is just too adorable. Finally time to break out those shorts(and shave those legs ladies) my go to are my Lilly Pulitzer scallop buttercup short. Starbucks is a need of course, it isn't a vacation until you break out the gold card :) I have linked many of my favorite items for spring break bellow, so take a look. Happy spring break ladies may your days be warm and full of sunshine, and your burns quickly turn into flawless tans!!

I can not express the joy I am feeling knowing that spring is on its way!! Spring is easily m favorite season, it is when everything comes to life again, and pastels and brights colors everywhere, it makes me very happy. This linen tote from Modus Rio is great for running errands around town or if your headed to the beach, also a plus it comes in several colors. The linen is light weight, which is nice making the bag very light (some bags these days weigh more then what you put in them haha) but I would not recommend this bag for if you are looking for a tote to throw your laptop in. Get your colorful Modus Rio bag here and get 15% off with code stylish15.

This is one of my favorite maxi dresses I got it a few summers ago and get so much use out of it, I found a very similar one for ONLY $26 (linked above). I am in love, let me repeat myself, I am in love with these Loren Hope earrings I received in my latest RocksBox sign up here and get your first month for FREE with code sarahxoxo4

Organizing your Planner

Staying organized and keeping up with your planner is important no matter what you do, student, blogger, or stay at home mom, these planners hold our lives. I am going to share a few of my planning tips along with some of my favorite planners.

You want to choose a planning technique and stick with it, if don't stick to it, your planner will end up looking like a hot mess. I personally like color coding, I have many colored pens and write tests, quizzes, work, friend, and blogging related items in different colors.  I have washi tape, but do not use it much in my agenda, but I have seen many people successfully use it in their planner to help them get organized.

Besides making it look pretty lol, I have two major planner tips. One, make sure you write in it, if you don't write it in your planner, how on earth do you expect to remember to do it? Second, look at it daily or even a few times a day depending on how detailed you get. I am totally guilty of writing down an assignment, leaving my planner in my bag all weekend and them bam, Monday rolls around, and that assignment that was due Sunday at midnight, so didn't get done. This might sound like supper simple advice, but that is really all it takes to keep up with your planner.

When I talked to a few of my friends telling them about this post I was working on, they all said they were just like me. They know how to color code, highlight, and use their washi tape, to make the planners look like a work of art BUT... They always forget to go back and LOOK. Over my years of school I have noticed that almost every assignment or due date I missed, was not missed because I did not write it down, but because I never went back to look. So my planner advice is simple, look at your planner often :)

I have a Lilly Pulitzer planner and have used them for several years, bellow I am also linking some other planners that you might enjoy.

If you have any planner advice or tips please share them with me, or if you have a favorite planner brand I would love to hear.

POP of color

  Jacket: Michael Kors (similar) | Shirt: J.Crew Factory | Jeans:(similar) | Bag: Kate Spade (similar, similar)
Shoes: Sole Society (similar) | Necklace: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Kate Spade | Bracelets: Kendra Scott

A little break in this cold snap that we can't seam to get away from allowed me to break out a few spring(ish) pieces. They were all quickly put away and my heavy winter coats put back into the front of my closet sadly. What I am looking forward to most for spring, shoes, I am tiered of wearing Uggs to class every day, I want to wear cute flats and sandals again. I am a tad obsessed with this necklace that I got from J.Crew Factory last week, if you follow me on Instagram (@sarahlouisezerbe), you are well aware because I have already posted like 4 pictures of it... and more to come :) I have received many questions regarding my gold Kate Spade watch that I am wearing in this post, Nordstrom is sold out but Belk still has a few on SALE 40% off making the watch only $150 get yours while they still have a few left.
