I had so much fun putting up and decorating the Christmas tree with Matt and Bentley, this is my first year not being home for the holidays. I am "kinda" picky when it comes to decorating and color schemes so I was pretty set on the silver and blue when it came to decorating the tree. I also wanted to clarify that all of those boxes under the tree are not my presents for Christmas, they are boxes I have saved over the years I'm not that spoiled :) Happy Holidays everyone, I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving with your families.

Sparkle & Plaid

Shirt: J.Crew (similar) | Button down: Free People (similar) | Jeans: American Eagle (similar) | Boots: Lane Bryant (similar)
Bag: Tory Burch | Boot socks: Free People | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Kate Spade

I love mixing up things like sparkle and plaid because, normally you would separate the two in your head, one if formal the other casual but together they look adorable. I sadly could not find a more similar sparkle t-shirt online this is from J.Crew last year, but I wear it so much around the holidays. So let me talk to you about these boot socks, they are so adorable I love all of Free Peoples boot socks, I cant get enough of them. Oh also for the random leaf picture, I know fall is pretty much coming to and end but we found this huge leaf at the arboretum and I couldn't resist, it was just so large. What is one of your favorite things to mix up in an outfit that you wouldn't normally put together? Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!!

I can't express how in love I am with these goodies Marley Lilly sent me! I had been wanting a navy clutch for a long time, and this monogrammed clutch couldn't be more adorable. The chain strap for it is perfect, for when you have your hands full. The clutch comes in many colors so you can choose the one that is just right for you. My arm candy is also a huge thanks to Marley Lilly for the monogrammed tassel chain bracelet. I adore everything monogrammed, so throw a tassel on it and I am in love. It's adjustable so you can adjust it to fit your arm perfectly. Marley Lilly is a great place for all of your monogramming needs because it is so affordable and stays up-to-date by constantly getting new product in. I am including a few of my favorites from their website bellow so make sure to go check it out.

I love my new Michael Kors jacket, and I was so sad that I could not find a link to it for yall. It also has a detachable fur collar and is perfect weight for this in-between fall/winter weather. I am wearing my boot socks that I made from the sleeves of a sweater I purchased at Goodwill. Please share with me any of your fun DIY clothing things like making your own boot socks!

Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide

holiday gift guide

I love to shop, especially for Christmas gifts, even though I tend to go a little over board. I have made a gift guide for any girl in your life(mom, girlfriend, you etc.) and all of the items are under $50. I am a strong believer that gifts should be pretty, at least a gift to a girl, not only the wrapping but the actual gift itself. Who doesn't love opening a pretty girly gift? I love giving gifts, but I love receiving them even more :) The best thing about a gift is every time you use the item it makes you think of the person that gave it to you.
I have three tips for you while you are shopping this season.
1. Think about what the person really likes and not focus on if you like it.
2. Don't buy it just because its on sale.
3. Expensive isn't always better.
One of the biggest parts of a gift is the thought you put behind it. What is on your wish list?
