Flannel

shirt: L.L.Bean | vest: c/o Marley Lilly on sale $35! | jeans: American Eagle | bag: Tory Burch | boot socks: similar
boots: Lane Bryant (similar) | watch: Michael Kors | sunglasses: Tory Burch
I spent some much needed time with family at our mountain house over the holidays, and I pretty much lived in the flannel plaid shirt from L.L.Bean. It comes in several different color waves and is very, I mean very, comfortable, as you would expect. If you have been on the hunt for the perfect plaid flannel, look no further this is the shirt for you. I have also gotten much use out of my monogrammed fleece vest from Marley Lilly, I find myself wearing it with everything. What is one of your favorite things to wear while you are up in the mountains?

Layer On The Plaid

Sweater: Loft (similar) | Shirt: J.Crew | Pants: American Eagle | Jacket: Michael Kors (similar) | Bag: Barneys NY
Necklace: Marley Lilly | Scarf: Marley Lilly | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Marley Lilly

I think one of my favorite things about this cooler weather is bundling up in a big warm scaf like this blanket scarf from Marley Lilly, it has all of the perfect holiday colors. Underneath all of my warm layers is a statement necklace from Marley Lilly that was part of their cyber Monday promotion (but I think is still for sale). I love that the jewel design makes a statement but with the natural color palliate allows you to pare it with anything. Marley Lilly is quickly becoming my one stop shop for all things monogrammed. I just ordered a few goodies for myself during the cyber Monday sale that will make an appearance on the blog.
I clearly need to invest in some more plaid button downs because I also wore this one on the last post (guilty). Where is your favorite place to get layering button downs, please let me know. I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with their families and that the start of your Holiday season is going well!

Sparkle & Plaid

Shirt: J.Crew (similar) | Button down: Free People (similar) | Jeans: American Eagle (similar) | Boots: Lane Bryant (similar)
Bag: Tory Burch | Boot socks: Free People | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Kate Spade

I love mixing up things like sparkle and plaid because, normally you would separate the two in your head, one if formal the other casual but together they look adorable. I sadly could not find a more similar sparkle t-shirt online this is from J.Crew last year, but I wear it so much around the holidays. So let me talk to you about these boot socks, they are so adorable I love all of Free Peoples boot socks, I cant get enough of them. Oh also for the random leaf picture, I know fall is pretty much coming to and end but we found this huge leaf at the arboretum and I couldn't resist, it was just so large. What is one of your favorite things to mix up in an outfit that you wouldn't normally put together? Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!!

Christmas Plaid

It's that time of year again, Christmas so break out your best holiday attire. My absolute favorite holiday skirt is the J.Crew factory pleated mini wool skirt (they are sold out of the plaid online) Skirt, it's perfect to wear on Christmas day because of the comfortable elastic waist band you can eat your feast and still look cute. Sweater: Ralph Lauren, Tights: target, Boots: Lane Bryant, Coat: J.Crew, Watch: Michael Kors.
