If you do not already own an Elsa top from Lilly Pulitzer I highly suggest investing in one, don't shy away from the price these tops are 100% silk and 100% gorgeous I have some that are over 2 years old and still look and feel brand new. I am wearing one of their new prints called "get spotted", I also am in love with the "all nighter" print it just came out yesterday, as part of the last spring shipment. One of my favorite things about my Elsa tops is how versatile they are, I wear them with a cute pair of jeans shown above, shorts in the summer, or a pencil skirt for the office. If you own an Elsa top top tell me which one is your favorite, if you are currently coveting ones which one do you have your eyes on?

Vanentine's Day Gift Guide

Valentines day gift guide

Valentines day is right around the corner, so if you were looking for a little gift inspiration, I have it here for you. I will be honest, Matt and I are not huge Valentine's Day gift giving people, we usually exchange something small and make dinner at home. I feel it's important to share your love everyday, not just one day a year (so cliche I know). Also being 21 and on a budget, saving up for a house, or other things for our future seems so much more important to me then that Diptque candle, as amazing as it might small. Even on a budget it is important to spoil your loved ones, make them dinner or their favorite desert, maybe just leave a sweet note laying around for them to find. I hope everyone has a love filled Valentines day no matter how you celebrate it!!

Duke Rose Garden

I have lived in Raleigh for almost all of my life and have never been to the Duke rose garden, and now I know what a beautiful place I have been missing out on and I am already planing my next trip back. If you live anywhere near Duke University I would definitely recommend you plan and afternoon to spend in the Duke rose garden. I am in LOVE with this skirt from Pink Tartan for many reasons 1- it is hot pink so enough said, 2- it is fully lined and has pockets and was on sale at Belk for 75% off and 3- I just love a full skirt I think they are so flattering on everyone.

Color me Pink

This dress was actually my graduation dress from high school that I dug out of the back of my closet. I love pink as any girl does so I love just taking a fairly neutral outfit and adding pops of pink like a bag or a bold pink lip, I do not own a pair of cute pink heals or I would have also worn them with this outfit. And remember even if you don't like pink you can pop a outfit with any fun bright color.
Dress: Banana Republic (similar)
Bag: Kate Spade (similar, similar)
Watch: Kate Spade (similar)
Bracelet: similar
Earings: Francesca's (similar)
