Christmas Sweater

Sweater: H&M(sold out) | Leggings: Hue | Boots: Tommy Hilfiger | Bag: Tory Burch
We all have that favorite sweater that just screams CHRISTMAS! My new favorite Christmas sweater I found this year at H&M, it was love at first sight. I find that a lot Christmas sweaters I end up falling in love with are men's, and there is nothing wrong with wearing a men's sweater. I have included pictures with links bellow to many cute Christmas sweaters that I have been eying. Whether it be a new Christmas sweater, or one you found for $3 at Goodwill embrace your "ugly" Christmas sweater and rock it! Mary Christmas everyone!!

Poncho Love

Poncho: Ralph Lauren-sold out (similar, similar) | Jeans: Nordstrom | Boots: Tommy Hilfiger | Bag: Tory Burch
Watch: Michael Kors | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Mac: Rebel | Essie: Wicked
I love my new Marsala colored poncho (the 2015 color pick of the year by Pantone) sadly it was sold out online but I have linked two similar looks. This outfit was all about comfy, casual, and cute. I like a poncho like this or an over-sized sweater because you still look cute but are also incredibly comfortable. When choosing a more casual outfit like this one, I suggest adding some fun accessories like the earrings I am wearing.
So back to the Marsala color who is just as excited as I am? It happens to already be one of my favorite colors for fall/winter so I wonder how I will tie it into my spring/summer wardrobe. We have all already become obsessed over our Marsala colored nail polish, I cant wait to see how everyone styles this color in the year to come. Do you have any favorite Marsala colored pieces in your wardrobe?

Layer On The Plaid

Sweater: Loft (similar) | Shirt: J.Crew | Pants: American Eagle | Jacket: Michael Kors (similar) | Bag: Barneys NY
Necklace: Marley Lilly | Scarf: Marley Lilly | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Marley Lilly

I think one of my favorite things about this cooler weather is bundling up in a big warm scaf like this blanket scarf from Marley Lilly, it has all of the perfect holiday colors. Underneath all of my warm layers is a statement necklace from Marley Lilly that was part of their cyber Monday promotion (but I think is still for sale). I love that the jewel design makes a statement but with the natural color palliate allows you to pare it with anything. Marley Lilly is quickly becoming my one stop shop for all things monogrammed. I just ordered a few goodies for myself during the cyber Monday sale that will make an appearance on the blog.
I clearly need to invest in some more plaid button downs because I also wore this one on the last post (guilty). Where is your favorite place to get layering button downs, please let me know. I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with their families and that the start of your Holiday season is going well!

Sparkle & Plaid

Shirt: J.Crew (similar) | Button down: Free People (similar) | Jeans: American Eagle (similar) | Boots: Lane Bryant (similar)
Bag: Tory Burch | Boot socks: Free People | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Kate Spade

I love mixing up things like sparkle and plaid because, normally you would separate the two in your head, one if formal the other casual but together they look adorable. I sadly could not find a more similar sparkle t-shirt online this is from J.Crew last year, but I wear it so much around the holidays. So let me talk to you about these boot socks, they are so adorable I love all of Free Peoples boot socks, I cant get enough of them. Oh also for the random leaf picture, I know fall is pretty much coming to and end but we found this huge leaf at the arboretum and I couldn't resist, it was just so large. What is one of your favorite things to mix up in an outfit that you wouldn't normally put together? Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!!
