I love my new Marsala colored poncho (the 2015 color pick of the year by Pantone) sadly it was sold out online but I have linked two similar looks. This outfit was all about comfy, casual, and cute. I like a poncho like this or an over-sized sweater because you still look cute but are also incredibly comfortable. When choosing a more casual outfit like this one, I suggest adding some fun accessories like the earrings I am wearing.

So back to the Marsala color who is just as excited as I am? It happens to already be one of my favorite colors for fall/winter so I wonder how I will tie it into my spring/summer wardrobe. We have all already become obsessed over our Marsala colored nail polish, I cant wait to see how everyone styles this color in the year to come. Do you have any favorite Marsala colored pieces in your wardrobe? 

Friday Fav's {Legwear Addition}

The temperature is quickly dropping and that means we need to cover our little legs, in style of course. I am a sucker for cute socks and tights. I have a few of my favorites for fall/winter above. I just ordered a few pairs from J.Crew factory they should arrive in the mail soon. Also last year I got crafty and made my own boot socks; I went to goodwill and bought some big sweaters supper cheep and cut off the sleeves, it actually worked really well and they are supper cute (see picture bellow). I usually keep my tight color mainly neutral, nude, black, gray, dark red, I want to try white but I am afraid I am to old to wear white tights (can women wear white tights?).Do you have any amazing places you always find socks or tights? Or have you made your own?

Red Cup Season

I wait all year for this time of Starbucks season, the red cup... I deprive myself by not getting my favorite holiday drink until the red cups arrive. My favorite drink is the white peppermint mocha with non-fat milk no foam and chocolate shavings on top, what is yours? I was so excited to wear this Free People sweater because it is just so warm and cozy. I was all supper excited when I found these Tommy Hilfiger boots because I have wide calves and they fit perfectly, they also come to brown!! Also Matt deserves props for the Starbucks photo he climbed down in the creek to place the cup there, in his Nike man-flops of course.

I was so excited to wear my new trench coat for the first time today and I am in love with it. It is so comfortable and looks cute open and closed, I feel so classy in it, you definitely need to add this beauty to your Christmas list. I got this sweater and pants on clearance at J.Crew(extra 30% off sale online, they had an extra 40% off in my store + student discount). You have to go check out their sale section. I love wearing big sweaters they are stylish but still supper comfortable and I felt that this would be a great color to also carry into my spring wardrobe. Also I want to remind everyone that you don't always have to wear dark colors during fall you can still break out your light color neutrals  and pastels like the lavender I am wearing, and yes even your white jeans. What is your favorite "rule breaker" for the fall?
