Classics

Trench Coat: J.Crew | Jeans: Nordstrom | Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer (similar, similar) | Bag: Tory Burch
Shoes: Tory Burch my FAVORITE flats | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Watch: Kate Spade 40% OFF |
Bracelet: c/o Kendra Scott | Earring: J.Crew Factory

This is a perfect outfit for those in-between weather days, when its still kinda chilly, but the sun breaks out in the aafternoon. Light layers like a classic trench coat are perfect for every season, I can't stress that enough. If you saw me on a day-to-day basis (especially at work) you would see that I wear the heck out of these Caroline Tory Burch flats they are my absoulte favorite. Not only are they cute, they are soooo comfortable, if you get a dark color though, make sure you wear little socks with them, they will dye your feet the color of the leather if you do not. This is really just an outfit full of some of my go to classic staples; ankle jeans, a trench coat, a fun scarf, and my favorite Tory flats. With these four items you can literally make an endless amount of outfits all year around.

Layer On The Plaid

Sweater: Loft (similar) | Shirt: J.Crew | Pants: American Eagle | Jacket: Michael Kors (similar) | Bag: Barneys NY
Necklace: Marley Lilly | Scarf: Marley Lilly | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Marley Lilly

I think one of my favorite things about this cooler weather is bundling up in a big warm scaf like this blanket scarf from Marley Lilly, it has all of the perfect holiday colors. Underneath all of my warm layers is a statement necklace from Marley Lilly that was part of their cyber Monday promotion (but I think is still for sale). I love that the jewel design makes a statement but with the natural color palliate allows you to pare it with anything. Marley Lilly is quickly becoming my one stop shop for all things monogrammed. I just ordered a few goodies for myself during the cyber Monday sale that will make an appearance on the blog.
I clearly need to invest in some more plaid button downs because I also wore this one on the last post (guilty). Where is your favorite place to get layering button downs, please let me know. I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with their families and that the start of your Holiday season is going well!

Spent the afternoon with Matt and some friends and of course Bentley was along for the ride at Phil Pot Lake. We enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and had a picnic by the lake and played in the leaves. I am wearing one of my favorite pairs of jeans, I love Miss Me jeans they are so comfortable and have a cute rugged look to them and wear/last a long time. What is your favorite pair of jeans? Also what is one of your favorite things to do on a fall Sunday afternoon?
